Drug Dealers Get Caught In UTP

23 February, Tronoh. Two drug dealers were caught in UTP, a prominent private engineering and technology university 350km northern of Kuala Lumpur, the capital city of Malaysia. The dealers were caught at 3.00p.m. at the Village 6 students hostel of UTP by the security team of the UTP.

           

               The drug dealers entered the UTP in the name of visitors of students. The drug dealers went around the Village 6 to look for buyers. They knocked student’s door can promote their drugs. An eyewitness, Dylan 18 who coincident passed by saw the strangers was dealing with a student. He immediately reported to the security and the crew of security started to search can catch to drug dealers.

           

               At the end the drug dealers had been arrested at the Village 6 Café. The local police had arrived and the drug dealers had handled to them. After several times of check around the Village 6, the police and security had already make sure that no drugs were sold to the students of UTP.

Swansea or UTP?

               Do you know the popular engineering university in Malaysia? Do you know that which university has the only one advance oil machine among all of the other university in Malaysia? That is UTP! The University Technology Petronas which owned by the famous oil and gas company, Petronas . I will rather choose to study at UTP instead of the Swansea University. I choose to study at UTP is because of the internship program, finance and the culture in the university.

             

              The internship program that the UTP will gives to students is very attractive to me. UTP offers a 7 months internship program when we move into our third year in the degree course. The period of the program is the longest in Malaysia, some of the university will only gives a program that is less than 5 months. Through the long period program, students can gain a lot of working experiences. The working experiences are very useful to them, they can use the extra knowledge and the experiences to do well in their final year project.

            

               Besides, the tuition fee of UTP is moderate and suitable to students. We cannot undertake a big amount of tuition fee. Student can apply for scholarship from Swansea University to support the tuition fee too. Nevertheless, the daily spend at United Kingdom is very large. Although we save the money for tuition, the daily spend is much higher than at UTP. UTP is a local university and we can easier to get suit to the environment. The flight ticket to Swansea University is expensive, students will have less chance to back and be together will their family. The transport at UTP is cheaper can more convenience for students to back home during holidays.

           

              Furthermore, in UTP I can experience a lot of culture from other student whose are different in race like Malay or Indian. There are a lot of international student in Swansea University too and they have their own different culture. The students might not practice their culture when they are studying there. Then we cannot experience their culture, but Malaysia is a country full of art of culture, students can experience a lot of culture in UTP, most of students are from local and they do practice their culture here.

           

              Lastly, UTP is a university where will satisfy most of the local students, they will not face finance problem and they can experience the good program and culture of the students here. I do hope students who just graduated from their secondary school to choose to study in UTP if they are aiming to become an engineer. UTP will make you satisfied can provided a good environment for study.

Drug Criminal In Malaysia is Getting Serious

Do you know how many cases of drug criminal had happened since 2010? According to the report of MHOPD (Malaysia Head of Police Department) , 5100 cases of drugs criminal had been recorded. “Cases of drug criminal will keep increasing if serious action is not taken.” Said the by president of MHOPD. There are many types of drug and it is unhealthy to human! Amount of drug dealer is increasing and cause a lot of problem to our country. The following paragraphs will illustrate about the causes of drug criminal, he effects and ways to solve it.

There are three causes of drug related to criminal. First, most of the people involves in the criminals are very desire towards money. In their mind, money is the first and they do everything for it. So they involve in drugs criminal to earn dirty money and ruin themselves. An improper teaching to new generation will lead to criminals too. The people who run the criminals may be the people who do not have parents or the parents that did not give a proper moral teaching to them since they were small. Another possible cause may be the ineffective of government department in solving the drug criminals. Government has a big capacity for their improvement in dealing with the crimes.

Besides, the drug criminals had brought a lot of bad effect to us. Even when a citizen is get cheated by them, the drug will affect the health and cause mental problem. The drugs will give a long effect to the user and it is hard to cure too. It causes an increase in the amounts of drug buyers and affects the safety of the community, people cannot live safe and they are afraid of the drug dealers. Drug criminals increase the cost of government in medicals field, our government spent a lot to help the victims of drug and spent to import medicine to cure the health problems of drug users.

Moreover, there are ways to solve the problems. The ways are dealing with the causes of the problems. We should provide a proper teaching to our new generations about the bad effect of drugs. They are the future of our country so we have to protect and give a good teaching to them. Our government should check the imported items strictly to make sure no forbidden drugs imported into our country. Drugs can be made in local area or imported from others country, this is an effective way to reduce the amount of drugs. Government should set up a specific department in handling the problems regarding the drug criminals. The department should given full rights and complete support to deal with the crimes. They can solve the problems in a more effective way.

At last, drug criminals is getting serious and bringing a lot of problem to the people. People of Malaysia must clear in mind to reject drugs and assist our government to solve the problems. I hope the people can live in a peace environment without fearing to drugs or any other crimes.

Safety Among University's Students [OPINION]

      How often you see a 'Safety First' signboard in your daily life?Safety one of the most important thing that we should focus everyday and anywhere.The following paragraphs will illustrate about the causes,the effects and the solutions of this problem.

      One of the factor which cause unsafe condition among students is lack of knowledge on how to use equipments.This situation is very dangerous when emergency state occur.This is because people did not know the manual to use safety equipments,thus life of others will be unsave.Besides,unresponsible security guard and weakness in strengthening the law also cause this condition occur.The unresponsible security guard here means they did not patrol around area of university which is part of their task in order to provide safe life of university's residents.

      Next,when safety of life especially human is threatened,it will give bad effects everyone in the campus.This will endangered life of people particularly students.Then,this situation will lead to increasing of death and give bad feeling to everyone related.They will live in frighten although because many of their friends have becoming the victims of unsafe condition in the campus.

      Nevertheless,here I have suggest two solutions for this critical situation.One the solution is briefing on how to use safety equipments to everyone including students and security guards.This is to ensure everybody can save others life eventhough it is not their jobs coming to university.The head of university also should fired lazy security guards who did not do their job well.This is necessary to ensure all residents in the university remain safe while security guards maintain their patrol in order to provide safe condition for benefit of everyone.

      The last but not least,the causes of this unsafe condition are lack of knowledge on how to use equipments,unresponsible security guard to patrol around and weakness in strengthening the law.These all causes will give effects like endangered life of human,increasing of death and everybody will live in frigthen,so the solutions are briefing on how to use safety equipments and fired all lazy security guards.Hopefully everyone will take responsibility seriously so that we can live in safe condition anytime.
