February, LH02- a survey was conducted among UTP students on a topic “How
frequently students using mobile phones during lecture time?” The survey
consists of 58 respondents; 34 male and 24 female students. Survey was
completed within a 15 minutes for each respondent.

of the total number of respondents answered that whey do use and accessing
their mobile phone during lecture time. Most of them responded that they
accessing an internet to online. Some of them use their mobile phone to play
games, see lecture notes, recording, and listening to music. However, 40% of
the respondents answered NO since they were concentrated on the lecture session
in front. They also added that by accessing a mobile phone during lecture will
cause them to lose focus on the particular topics which were being taught by
the lecturer.
