ARGUMENTATIVE ESSAY

UTP OR SWANSEA

                 In the century of millenium, many people especially old people in Malaysia always said that study abroad is much better than study in Malaysia.In addition, they said that the fresh graduates from abroad can get a job much easier.However, a research that had been carried showed that study at private university such as Universiti Teknologi Petronas (UTP) also can get a job easily.So, if you are given a chance to choose between Swansea or UTP,which will you prefer most?Is it a best choice?If me,I will choose the local university,UTP than Swansea.Factors that influence me to study locally are the food,the culture and the human resources.


                 First of all, the factor that influence me to study locally at UTP is the food served at cafe to the community especially to the students.Why I prefer food at UTP more than at Swansea?It is becausethe food are suitable and much delicious to me.It is due to my appetite that had been ate the food in Malaysia since I was a kid.Besides that,the hygiene of the food at UTP is more preserved than Swansea.Then,for me as a Muslim,there are no worries for taking any meals because I am guaranteed that the food served is 'halal' for Muslim.The food at UTP also is much cheaper because it ise a malaysian currency,Ringgit Malaysia (RM) compared to England currency, Euro which is much higher in value.


                Secondly,the culture in UTP that adapted to my life as a Muslim is much better than Swansea. If people said that there are much better to study abroad due to improve the communication skill and braveness,I did not agreed with that statement.In UTP,I still can be friend to the international students and carry out my same way of life.But,how if the foreign students bring their culture such as wild party into UTP and it will be a culture shock for the local students?nevertheless,the local students will assilimitated the majorities and the foreigners to be adapted with the local's students.


                 Thirdly,the last factor that influences me to study local than study abroad is the human resources.UTP have more talented human resources compared to Swansea.UTP have lots of experience lecturers and tutors with the high position of PhD,Dr,Ir and Prof for example.With that,the students will get an useful knowledges and training from ther respectative lecturers.Furthermore,UTP always controls the quality of their lecturers and tutors to produce a well-rounded students.


                 To conclude the above paragraphs,the main is about the choice to choose between UTP and Swansea.I choose UTP because UTP have a much clean food,adapted culture and talented human resources.I hope many people will choose UTP because we need to support local university so the country will grow up like the others country such as America,England and Russia.
