Report on the Number of Times UTP Students Fart in a Day

        On 29^th March 2012, a survey was carried out in Lecture Room (LR) 14, Block N, UTP. I was curious to find out the number of times the students of UTP fart in a day, and that was how my survey began. The survey was done by 34 students consisting of both male and female students of various backgrounds, race and culture. I asked the question and passed it around the lecture room to ensure everyone answered.

          After receiving the feedback, I analyzed the data obtained. Out of 34 students, 17% said that they fart less than five times a day. However, another 15% of students said that the farted more than five times a day, but less than ten. Meanwhile, a majority of 29% were unsure of the number of times they fart in a day. Interestingly enough, 15% of students said that their farts were uncountable. Another 12% of students never bothered to count the number of times they ever farted, and the remaining 12% of students had no valid answer.
